See it Work! In this simple animation of the tube hydroforming process, water pushes the material to the outside of the tool (arrows inside die), while sealing cylinders (arrows on left and right of die) push inward to accomplish axial end feeding. Axial feeding pushes extra material into the die to get large center expansion with minimal wall thinning.
